micron 7 – a handy radio control with color LCD!
The display can be used to clearly indicate feedback information such as load weight or crane workload as well as error notifications and warnings. The operator benefits from a considerable increase in safety and ease of use!
If no feedback information is displayed at the moment or if the system has been ordered without feedback, firmly defined information such as crane or hall/bay number can be displayed. For protection from impact damages and scratches, the LCD is equipped with a plastic cover made from an innovative, self-repairing material.
Besides the LCD, micron 7 offers a whole set of additional features. The standard equipment includes 10 two-step push buttons, 2 rotary switches as well as radiomatic® iLOG. This electronic key enables the quick activation of a spare transmitter in case the original transmitter is damaged. A rechargeable NiMH exchange battery provides the necessary power.
Another feature is the integrated vibration alarm. In the standard version, it informs the operator of a low battery status. As an option, the vibration alarm can also be triggered for feedback information. According to the ordered configuration, a noticeable vibration of the transmitter can warn the operator of critical machine conditions and potential hazardous situations, such as an impending crane overload or engine overheating. This ensures additional safety for not only the operator, but for their equipment as well!
micron 7 is available with numerous innovative additional functions. One of these is user identification. This innovative new development by HBC-radiomatic is based on a personal login-card (HBC Smart Card the size of a credit card). It serves as a key for the activation of the radio system and protects the equipment from unauthorized use. At the same time, safety-relevant functions can be restricted to authorized personnel only.
The new feature has many advantages for the application’s owner. In connection with the HBC data logger, data of the radio system such as the overall activity, usage of time, and number of commands can be saved and stored; a valuable feature when tracking operator productivity and crane maintenance.
